Relay For Life is a chance for communities to recognise and celebrate those who have overcome cancer or are undergoing treatment, as well as the people who care for them. Relay also provides an opportunity to celebrate the memory of loved ones lost to cancer.
All saliva and blood samples are collected and stored at The University of Melbourne's Genetic Epidemiology Laboratory, located at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
We thank participants from across Australia who generously contributed their time, and to the ABC project team at Cancer Council Victoria, in particular its project manager Theresa Whalen.
