What do we end up with?

Data Trends

Answers to the questionnaires are pooled together. We then look for trends and compare those later diagnosed with cancer or other diseases, to those unaffected.

DNA Family Tree

We will also look at the DNA from the saliva and blood samples and the frequency of cancers in families. We hope this will enable us to accurately predict cancer risk based on an individual's genetic profile and lifestyle and be able to deliver more customised health advice and better targeted public health messages.
