In August 1991, a very dear and close friend was diagnosed with lung cancer. She was an extremely fit person, played a mean squash game, and only smoked the occasional cigarette, mainly during her 20's. Her cancer had travelled so quickly through her body and she passed in December of the same year, aged 45. Her family and friends were devastated.
Also, my beloved mother passed aged 86, from bowel cancer in 1998. I strongly believe that whatever information the general public can provide to your organisation is vital.
